With a total economic impact of $8.42 billion per year in Arkansas in 2013, tourism is the state’s second largest industry. In Northwest Arkansas, 3.37 million visitors per year have made tourism a $1.1 billion industry that generates total revenues of $1,575 per resident. In Carroll County, tourism generates total revenues of $6,284 per resident. This and related information has been compiled in the presentation, “The Impact of Tourism and Hospitality on Arkansas,” by Dr. Robert J.
